This statement is issued in relation to media reports circulating that a proposal has been submitted to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka regarding the revision of electricity tariffs.

PUCSL like to inform the public that Ceylon Electricity Board has not submitted a proposal regarding the revision of electricity tariffs for the approval of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka as of today (January 8, 2024) as per the media reports circulated.
