(Notice published under Section 17 of Sri Lanka Public Utilities Commission Act No. 35 of 2002)

In accordance with Section 30 of the Electricity Act No. 20 of 2009, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has decided to seek public opinion (stakeholder consultation)regarding the revision of electricity tariffs proposed by the distribution licensee (Ceylon Electricity Board) for the year 2023.

The proposed 3rdelectricity tariff revision 2023 proposal submitted to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka by the Ceylon Electricity Board can be accessed by visiting the website www.pucsl.gov.lk.

Written comments and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders regarding the proposed 3^rd electricity tariff revision 2023 will be accepted till October 18, 2023.

The oral stakeholder consultation on the same will be held on 18^th October 2023 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), Colombo.

This stakeholder consultation is conducted in terms of the powers assigned to the Commission under Section 17 of the Sri Lanka Public Utilities Commission Act No. 35 of 2002.
