Introduction of Standards
The Commission introduce various standards to electrical safety of public and properties. The latest standard introduced was National Standard for Plugs and Sockets in Sri Lanka which is on action now.

There are various standards introduced by the Commission to ensure the electrical safety of the public and the properties. National Single Standard for Plugs and Socket in Sri Lanka is in action now. 

The next important introduction was Licensing of Electricians. Licensing of Electricians mechanism has been identified and reveled to public by a Public Consultation.
