The Commission has decided to conduct a stakeholder consultation in accordance with Section 17 of Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka Act, No. 35 of 2002, with regard to following rules.  

1. The Scheme of Recruitment (SoR) applicable to each position within the Commission; and 
2. The Procedure for Determination of Remuneration, including the basis for setting and revising rates of pay for all categories of staff, as provided for under Section 12(1)(d) and Section 12(2) of the Act. 

The Commission invites comments on above rules from relevant stakeholders on or before 19th November 2025.

2002 අංක 35 දරන ශ්‍රී ලංකා මහජන උපයෝගිතා කොමිෂන් සභා පනතේ 17 වන වගන්තියට අනුකූලව පහත සඳහන් රීති සම්බන්ධයෙන් අදහස් හා යොජනා ලබා ගැනීම සඳහා මහජන උපදේශනයක් පැවැත්වීමට කොමිෂන් සභාව තීරණය කර ඇත.

1. කොමිෂන් සභාව තුළ ඇති සෑම තනතුරකටම අදාළ වන බඳවා ගැනීමේ ක්‍රියා පටිපාටිය (SoR); සහ
2. පනතේ 12(1)(d) සහ 12(2) වගන්තිය යටතේ දක්වා ඇති පරිදි, සියලුම කාණ්ඩ වල කාර්ය මණ්ඩල සමාජිනයින් සඳහා වැටුප් අනුපාත නියම කිරීම සහ සංශෝධනය කිරීම සඳහා පදනම ඇතුළු වේතන තීරණය කිරීමේ ක්‍රියා පටිපාටිය.
