The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) was established by the Act No. 35 of 2002 as a multi-sector infrastructure regulator in the country. With the enactment of the Sri Lanka Electricity Act No. 20 of 2009, the Commission became the economic, safety and technical regulator of the Electricity industry. The Commission is looking for suitable potential candidates to fill the following positions.
1. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR – INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (01 position – On Contract)
Reporting Relationship
– Director Corporate Communications
Qualifications and Experience
– A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university by UGC
– At least (03) three years of post-qualifying experience in the following areas;
o Strong skills in gathering and compiling data.
o Proven skills in report writing and presentations.
o Involve in public relations, Event management, organizing skills.
o High proficiency in English. Should have good writing skills in English and Sinhala.
Age
– Below 35 years.
2. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT – (04 POSITIONS)
Reporting Relationship
– Director of the respective division
Qualifications and Experience
– Should have obtained Credit passes for 03 main subjects (except General Test and Common English Paper) in G.C.E. (A/L) examination in any stream in one sitting.
– Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with six (06) subjects including credit passes for English and Mathematics in one sitting
– Minimum of three(03) years of post-qualifying experience in a similar capacity
Age
– Below 25 years.
3. MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT – FRONT OFFICE-On Contract (01 POSITION)
Reporting Relationship
– Director Human Resources & Administration
Qualifications and Experience
– Should have obtained Credit passes for 03 main subjects (except General Test and Common English Paper) in G.C.E. (A/L) examination in any stream in one sitting.
– Should have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with six (06) subjects including credit passes for English and Mathematics in one sitting
– Minimum of (01)one year of experience in handling the receptionist duties.
Age
– Below 30 years.
