PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF SRI LANKA

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) independent and autonomous multi-sector infrastructure regulatory agency established under Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka Act No. 35 of 2002 in the country. With the enactment of the Sri Lanka Electricity Act No. 20 of 2009, PUCSL became the economic, safety and technical regulator of the Electricity industry.

PUCSL is seeking to appoint a dynamic and results oriented professional with high level of integrity to fill the following position.

 

DIRECTOR LICENSING (01 position)

Reporting relationship

• Reports to: Deputy Director General (Industry Services)

Objective of the position:

• Responsible for operations of the licensing division including exercise licensing condition as per legislations and monitor the compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering and a post graduate degree from a recognized university by UGC.
• Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers of Sri Lanka.

Experience

• Minimum of ten (10) years post qualifying experience in a utility or regulatory agency.
• Age– between 45 to 55 years

 

Gross Salary range

• Rs. 280,000.00 – 400,000.00
