The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (the Commission) has decided to consult the public and relevant stakeholders at the provincial level regarding above matter.
The purpose of preparation of this mechanism is to provide following electricity services for consumers residing in any lands including government lands without violating the legal system of relevant government institutions.
The related consultation paper can be accessed on the Commission’s website www.pucsl.gov.lk.
Written comments and suggestions from the public and stakeholders regarding the consultation paper will be accepted until 31of December 2024. In the event where public consultations are held in provincial level for oral comments regarding this mechanism, a two-week advance notice on the date of oral comments obtain in the respective province will be published on the Commission’s website and official Facebook account.
