VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) was established by the Act No. 35 of 2002 as a multi-sector infrastructure regulator in the country. With the enactment of the Sri Lanka Electricity Act No. 20 of 2009, PUCSL became the economic, safety and technical regulator of the Electricity industry.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified dynamic and results-oriented professionals to fill the following position in PUCSL.

Director Finance (01 position)

Reporting relationship

  • Deputy Director-General – Operations

Objective of the position:

  • Responsible for all financial management activities.
  • Receive all money due to the Commission and also make payments on behalf of the Commission.
  • Maintenance of accounts of the Commission as per the approved finance manual.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting and postgraduate degree from a recognized university by UGC
  • Should be a qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience

  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of post-qualifying experience in managing finance and accounting preferably in a semi-government organization.

Age

Below 50 years

Gross Salary

Rs. 300,000.00 – Rs. 350,000.00
