The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) was established by the Act No. 35 of 2002 as a multi-sector infrastructure regulator in the country. With the enactment of the Sri Lanka Electricity Act No. 20 of 2009, PUCSL became the economic, safety and technical regulator of the electricity industry.

PUCSL seeks dynamic and result-oriented professionals to fill the following positions.

 

Internal Auditor

Level:  Deputy Director

Reporting relationship : Chairman of the Commission

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (SLQFL 6 or equivalent) in Finance /Accountancy /Economics /Commerce /Management from a recognized University by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka

And

A Postgraduate Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Economics/Commerce/Management (SLQFL 10 or equivalent) from a recognized university by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka

And

  • Professional Qualifications of ACA/ACCA/ACMA or CIA

 And

  • At least ten (10) years’ experience in Managerial Level out of which five (05) years of experience should be at the Middle Managerial Level after obtaining the first degree.

 

Age : Age should not be more than 45 years

 

General Conditions

  • The above position carries attractive remuneration and other fringe benefits.
  • The applicant would be treated as qualified only if he/she has completed the necessary qualifications before the closing date of applications.
  • Every applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka, be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post well, and should be of excellent moral character.
