(25/02/2020) – The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL), electricity sector regulator yesterday (24/02/2020) received the investigation report from Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) on the two to two- and half-hour power cuts on 3^rd of February 2020 impacted many parts of Sri Lanka.

The report is submitted as per the request made by PUCSL, as carrying out a planned power interruption, other than unplanned power interruption, without the approval of the PUCSL, is an offence under the provision of the Sri Lanka Electricity Act No 20 of 2009 (as amended).
