
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka has decided to seek public opinion on Challenges faced by Renewable Energy Developers in Sri Lanka.
This public consultation is conducted in terms of the powers assigned to the Commission under Section 17 of the Sri Lanka Public Utilities Commission Act No. 35 of 2002.
The related consultation document can be accessed via the website www.pucsl.gov.lk
Written comments and suggestions from the public and other stakeholders will be accepted until 25th April 2025 regarding the identified challenges and obstacles faced by developers and lapses in the prevailing system related to the implementation of renewable energy projects, including Rooftop Solar PV systems.
