Consultant – Petroleum Industry
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL), in its capacity as the designated regulator of the petroleum industry, is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to advise and assist on regulation of the petroleum industry.
The primary responsibility of the Consultant would be to coordinate the process of establishing the regulatory framework and build regulatory capacity within the Secretariat as well as to carry out the activities pertaining to the petroleum sector.
• BSc. Degree obtained from a UGC recognised university
• Minimum of 20 years of technical experience of which 10 years should be at senior managerial level in a similar sector
• Knowledge and experience in local and international petroleum markets
• Consulting and Regulatory experience will be an added advantage
The duration of the contract will be initially for one-year with the option of further extension depending on the performance. Short listed applicants based on the highest qualifications and experience will be called for interviews and the selection will be based on the performance at the interview.
